Ti-Sha B'av - Pray with me for people REPENT and get ready before God soon judges the USA today as He warned...

Today is Ti-Sha B'av the 9th of Av, the day of fasting for many disasters that God sent on Israel & the Jewish people.

A friend of mine recently had a dream that he was standing on top of the Empire State building and he saw a HUGE tsunami coming towards the city. He said he saw the whole city get knocked down by the wave. He has never been to New York either.  

 Many have recently had prophecies & dreams of tsunamis hitting the east coast, and about Nukes coming here & asteroids Join me today in fasting & praying that God will relent not bring this judgement:

Who Would Dare to Love ISIS? (A Letter from the People of the Cross)

As a Jew who loves Muslims... I fully resonate with the message of this video.

BUT…

I used to hate Muslim people. I saw videos of them killing people everywhere, and I got so mad and thought about what I could do to stop them. I wanted to sign up for the IDF so I could kill them. A friend told me that they don’t take non-Hebrew speakers.

Thankfully God started changing my heart. I kept reading and hearing preachers say that it is the most important thing to love your enemies and to forgive those who sin against you, and I realized I needed to forgive them, and that I had a hard heart toward them:

[Mat 6:14-15 NASB] 14 "For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 "But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.

I knew that if I did not forgive them, God wouldn’t forgive me, and that convicted me.  I prayed that God would help me to start loving them and change my heart. He sure did!!! I praise God I has really loved the Muslim people ever since. 

I am from a Jewish family, when I tell people that I care about them as Muslims and that I am a Jew who loves Jesus, many are shocked. I now pray for Muslims to turn to Jesus/Isa all the time, and for the ministries who reach out to them. Prayer makes ALL the difference!

Have you forgiven the Muslims?  If not God won’t forgive your sins, as it said above in Matthew. Scary thought eh?

Are you willing to share the most important thing with them, the good news that Jesus died for your sins and mine and rose again to save us from hell?

I know you know this passage, but most of them don’t:

His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have

eternal life. 17 "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the

You don’t even need to go any mission trip to another country because God has already sent them to your neighborhood!!! Is no accident. He brought them into your life for a purpose.

Go for it and tell them before it is too late!!

If God can change my heart, he can easily change yours.

It is great getting to listen to free Audio Bible, and they have over 1000 different Bible versions, and hundreds of languages, and it is all FREE!!! They have received over 1,000,000 downloads so far. This software is a gift from God. If you don't have it, get it!!!

If you know someone who doesn't have a Bible, or who doesn't believe, show them where they can get it. You can read it in the dark, or on the bus and you can highlight it and it syncs to your computer version, etc. Great software!!!!

I praise God that He took my punishment on the cross and He rose again today :-) :-) :-)
I am sad however that I didn't get to go to a church service today to worship Him. I had a lot of back pain this morning so we planned to go to a service at 2. It turned out that the service at 2 was really at 12:30 but I didn't find that out until around 1:00.

The resurrection is such a powerful testimony to the fact that Jesus really was who He claimed to be!!! I even heard of a rabbi who said that the evidence for the resurrection is too good to deny it but hasn't yet said that he believes in Him.

It has gotten a lot harder to walk now because I have so much back pain and the Huntington's disease is causing me to walk more slowly. This week was a first time for me that I have had to do two new things: ask my amazing wife to help feed me and dry me after a shower. It is hard for me to ask anyone else but her for help and I praise God that she patiently helps me in all this!!!

I really loved that the congregation we go to Olive Tree had a resurrection day celebration yesterday so I didn't miss out worshipping in community. You can find a link to the sermon here about the resurrection when it is posted to the sermon page here:

I Miss Driving!!!

I Miss Driving!!! 

I used to love to go out anywhere and sing praises to Jesus wherever I went and get time listening to worship music in the car. Nothing like getting sweet time with Him that way. I even came to love having traffic here in Chicago because I had more time to worship Jesus. 

When driving along worshiping I would often see things in the sky or next to me that I was singing about. I would be singing, "I'll fly away" and right then see a flock of birds take off. Once I was singing something about lifting high the cross, only to look up and see a cross in the sky made of clouds. Another time I was singing one of my favorite songs, "Shadows" by David Crowder Band. I was on an outreach in Israel, and this song's lyrics encouraged me greatly out there when we had a lot of often violent opposition to our message about Jesus as the Messiah. My favorite part said, "When Shadows fall on us, we shall not fear, we will remember, we are resting in the shadow of the cross." On that campaign in Israel I was singing that song while lying down at rest time. I looked up and saw a cross-shaped shadow right above my head. I was truly "resting in the shadow of the cross." God makes things like that happen all the time!!! He is so loving!!!

One of my favorite things to do in the same vein was to praise God with loud worship music while driving and shifting to the left lane, and putting the car on cruise control, and putting one of my hands up in the air and looking up in the sky, praising my King and trusting Him to protect me. He always did, no matter how long I looked up!!!  There is somewhere where God told us many times in the Bible "do not fear" and He helped me not have to while praising Him, it was perfectly safe with His loving arms!!! 

My Video Game Addiction

We all struggle with different addictions. I used to be a huge video game addict. I grew up in a home where we would play all night and go to sleep at 3 am and then sleep in so we could do it all again. I weighed about 300 pounds in that lifestyle After God delivered me I was down to about 200.

When we bought bigger and better TV's and game systems I thought that I would be satisfied with them. When I would play them they were fun but they didn't have the satisfaction I thought they would give me. I realized that I was just starting at the TV screen all day and night and not really accomplishing anything.

When I started working with Jews for Jesus as a student at Moody Bible Institute I asked God to help me stop my addiction and He slowly has!!! One verse that convicted me was in Proverbs:  "Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies will have their fill of poverty." Proverbs 28:19 NIV

One of my favorite games to play was Final Fantasy and this verse shows that I should not be wasting my time in that way. I wanted to ask God to help me use that time instead for serving the Lord.

Since then I for a long time tried to stay away from them, knowing I could easily fall back into the same temptation.

To replace that time I found ways to store up treasure in heaven instead using the same tools. We at Jews for Jesus had a way to go walk around in the game "Second Life' and tell people there about Jesus. I also used my computer and phone to tell people about Jesus on sites like Omegle.com or Facebook.

I have two daughters. I hadn't been gaming for a long time. One day I read a study that said that daughters who play video games with their dads feel closer to him than those who don't. My daughters and I have "daughter dates" each week, and we switch whose turn it is weekly. I decided from that study to take only a few minutes with them each week playing video games on the computer one on one.

Last week we were in St Louis. While there we saw my brother-in law who is moving to Japan. He offered me his Wii. At first I said no. Then I flip-flopped, and said yes. He packed it up, and put it in a box for me to bring home. The next morning I was reading the Bible and I read a chapter of Proverbs. (Each day I read the chapter that matches the day--chapter 5 for day 5, etc as there are 31 chapters and usually 31 days of a month. I would suggest this for anyone as it is so practical and applicational) Guess what day of the month it was and chapter it was? You got it, 28th!!! The one I mentioned above: "Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies will have their fill of poverty." Proverbs 28:19 NIV
I prayed and asked God if it was wise to take it home or not and I feel He said "No." I was tempted to take it anyway, and I asked God to help me leave it there, and He did!!!!

HALLELUJAH!!!

That was not my power. Jesus did it all!!! I keep reminding myself I will get plenty of time to play games in heaven.

Thank you all so much for your prayers! It has gotten harder and harder for me to be able to do as much work. I praise God that I have been able to have the support of the ministry of Jews for Jesus and they have been an amazing source of encouragement. Many times the doctors ask me if my work is willing to be flexible and I praise God they sure have!!! It helps that I work with other people who all believe like I do that Jesus is the Messiah of Israel and He died for your sins and mine and rose again to save us from hell. I love having the chance to tell others just that.
I praise God I have been accepted on disability and I am thankful for having insurance that covers part of my missed salary. God is amazing!!! Today when working downstairs my feet got pretty bloated and started tingling. Exciting, but then I came upstairs to rest and stretch and put on some worship music, and was having such joy worshiping Jesus despite the pain!!!
He is the Light of the World!!! Do you know him??
